Have you considered incorporating baby massage into your daily routine with your little one? Not only is it a great way to bond with your baby, but it also has numerous benefits for their development. Baby massage can help promote better sleep, relieve wind and colic, boost their immune system and even improve their cognitive and motor skills. It’s also a wonderful way to soothe and calm your baby during fussy periods. ​I demonstrate the massage techniques on a doll and guide you while you learn with your baby.
We will also explore your baby's developmental stage, what is happening in their brain and body, and how you can support them in play to build their brain.​
I run regular courses in 5 week blocks and occasional workshops or drop-in sessions. These classes are appropriate for babies from 6-8 weeks old up to the time they are very wriggly and want to move/roll/sit.
Over the 5 week course you will learn massage techniques for the whole body and some special techniques for targeting particular issues such as colic and teething. You will receive a free gift, bottle of oil and a massage guide each week to be able to practice massage at home with your baby when it is a good time for them and you.
Classes are relaxed and easy going.
My classes are baby led - babies decide if and when they are ready to participate and it’s important to follow their lead, I will help you learn about how to recognise what your baby is telling you and how to progress at a pace that suits them. If your baby decides they would like to sleep, feed or make some noise that is completely fine.
